Just in time for the National Day of Reason, we have this little gem from the world of "I'll believe anything, no matter how stupid." According to this Reuters report, the practice of dropping babies from a 15-meter-high tower has been practiced for five centuries. However the Bible also makes passing reference to parents who "cause their children to pass though fire," which I take to be a similar kind of practice.
