ANSWERS IN INTELLIGENCE

You may be familiar with an appalling little web site called "Answers in Genesis." Founded by minister and professional meathead Ken Ham, AiG  is the online tool of the Creation Museum. (The Rev. Mr. Ham is a tool as well.) It is windy, smug and anti-intellectual. (So is Mr. Ham.)

In other words, it is for born-again Christians.

It also purports to tell the truth about science and religion vis a vis the Creationism-Evolution debate. It does not. It is a clumsy propaganda tool that uses outright lies to preserve people's ignorance at all cost, all in defense of the Gospel.

Fortunately, there is AiG Busted! From here on out, any time you see the words "Answers in Genesis," they will link to this excellent site. If you're a skeptic and not already subscribed to the AiG blog, go sign up right now. (Go ahead—I'll wait.) Then come back here  and click on this link>>>>>Answers in Genesis and bookmark the site for later. If you compare the AiGBusted site to its preposterous and nefarious namesake, you will note some important differences. First of all, AiGBusted is rational and intelligently written. It is organized with articles under the major categories: "The Lies," "Disproving Creationism," and "The Scientific Case for Evolution."

The articles themselves are informative and well-written. Would you like to know scientifically why Noah's flood is impossible? Would you benefit from reading a primer on Natural Selection? How about getting the straight story on the ridiculous creationist concept called Irreducible Complexity? It's all here, in lucid prose.

Dig in, boys and girls. If you have a blog or a web site, link to it. Let's get the word out to the world. This is a valuable resource—let's use it.
