The Fool Hates Dunkin Donuts

OK, I admit it—I was never a big fan of Dunkies to begin with. I think Rachel Ray is annoying and insincere, and a terrible "chef" to boot. But this whole Michelle Malkin thing is just too much.

For those of you who have been living under a rock for the last three weeks or so, here's the original, idiotic story. If you'd rather not interrupt your enjoyment of the Fool's pithy nuances to catch up on the details, I'll outline the whole thing by saying Dunkin Donuts ran a commercial with chubby little Rachel Ray(not my first choice for doughnuts-spokesperson, IMO) wearing a patterned scarf. Michelle Malkin (Fox News' resident nitwit—to be honest, they have a number of choices in that category, but hey, it's TV—what did you expect?) saw the spot and decided Rachel was wearing a keffiyeh, the fashion choice of the late Yasser Arafat and other Islamo-fascist baby-killers. In Malkin's tiny brain, this constitutes support for terrorism, and she said so publicly.

Isn't that just unbelievably stupid? But wait, here's the punchline. DD pulled the ad and apologized.

I highly recommend that everybody go out and support some other donut & coffee establishment.
If you're lucky enough to live in New England (an area served by Honeydew Donuts),  you might want to check this out. Click on the "latest ad" frame at the bottom right. The first guy in the blue shirt and the glasses? Doesn't he just look like a Perfect Fool!

Update: the link above is no longer active, but this one will show you the ad in question. "If you ask me, a Cinnamon Stick...etc." Yep, that's the fool, right there.

Also, Michelle Malkin and Rachel Ray are still horrible. Some things never change.

Thanks for publishing this to the net! I had no idea. How rediculous. Good thing terrorists don't wear jeans when beheading or I wouldn't have anything to wear to breakfast.
