Today's Pearls Before Swine reminds me of the ongoing Israeli/Palestinian fiasco, with the Zebra in the role of Israel, the Crocodiles as the Palestinians, and the Elephant playing the part of the UN and world opinion. Israel is far from blameless in this whole mess, but they are still the only nation that still has to justify its very existence more than 60 years after its creation.
